You're Not Alone

Years ago before we had
Social media online,
People who lived all alone
Their life was far from fine.
Those who had no family
And no friends as well,
Had no vital help at hand
Their mental state was hell.
Some committed suicide
Their way of ridding strife,
Loads failed in their attempt
Disabling them for life.
But many started fighting
And they would say to you,
Do not throw away your life
There's so much you can do.
Join Mental Health groups
There's so much help at hand,
And many people are like you
So please please understand.
If you can read this poem
It means you have a brain,
Find something that's positive
Then you can live again.
Ask someone to talk to
There are many who are nice,
And once you're feeling better
You can offer good advice.
