Walt Whitman (born 31 May, 1819 -) Great poet of America.

Since childhood, he had a great love for nature and often used to leave school to go to the fields or to the seaside. He gave up studies at the age of 11 and entered a newspaper office as a learner. He also had a great interest in traveling abroad. By the age of 37, he spent days as a compositor, carpenter and teacher and also worked in many dialogues but his high views could not confine him to a journalist's life and he abandoned him and entered the field of poetry .

His first work Liberation of Grass was first published in 1855 AD. At that time only 12 poems were stored in it, but in 1792 its version was published, its number increased to 123. This poem collection began to light for the first time and a lot of intense and bitter criticism of it started. But the eminent thinker Emerson understood its importance and said that I consider it 'a wonderful creation of wisdom'. After this, Emerson's influence on Whitman became increasingly equal, as he himself admitted.
